Wine for Weddings |
|
Wine type, style, quantity, cost and serving etiquette are all factors that make choosing wine for an event such as a wedding a little harder than perhaps anticipated. Here are Corney & Barrow's top five tips:
- Allow for six glasses per bottle of Champagne or wine.
- Champagne should be ice-cold before being served – it warms up very quickly.
- Red wines should be uncorked (and preferably tasted) up to four hours before being served.
- Allow at least half a bottle of wine per person during the meal – as a minimum..!
- Why not serve Prosecco as a lighter, alternative bubble after dinner?
